Woodland Sampler – Stage 20

It’s time for another SAL project update.  I’m stitching the Woodland Sampler by Anchor. The design number is PCE958.

This is where I was up to last time.

The badger completed the far right of the third row. I then moved onto the bottom left corner. You might remember the primroses from a few updates ago. Only the tips of the rabbit’s ears were done before this update.

I’ll be continuing to the right of the rabbit. There’s some toadstools and more greenery coming up.

Please check out what everyone else has been up to by clicking their names below. We live all over the world so you may need to allow for time differences as we’re posting today at local time.

Our next updates will be posted on the 26th June 2022.

About the SAL

Please note this SAL is not accepting any more new members until further notice but this is what it’s all about anyway. This SAL (Stitch Along) is slightly different to other SALs in that we don’t all stitch the same design at the same rate. We choose ONE unfinished project, or ONE new one, and show progress of its completion over a series of three weekly updates. There are no deadlines and no set amount to stitch. The result is that the space in our drawers full of WIPs (works in progress) is gradually being freed up to store lots of new crafty goodness. It’s surprising how much motivation I’ve gained from being in this SAL.

I love how the minimum of backstitch around the eye really brings this fellow to life!

The rabbit is so sweet and alive. I can’t believe it is three weeks since you last posted. How much it has grown. Not too far to go now until it is all done and we can see it completed..

  6. Such a sweet project and you made so much progress. That rabbit is adorable. Gardening, a baby, no bigger than my palm, hopped out of a small burro in a wine barrel planter, then another and another – off they scurried. Your rabbit could have been their mama 🙂

    • Aw! Baby rabbits are so cute until I think of them munching my plants haha. I’ve got the end in sight so my head is down and I’m going for it.

Well done, Avis! The rabbit is adorable. We have a rabbit who’s made home in my back yard…luckily only my gaura plant is her favorite among the garden buffet, besides the grass.
