SAL Block 15 Completed

Hi Everyone,

Once again, it is time to show you the progress I’ve made on my Friendship Quilt V by Whispered by the Wind. Claire is stitching the same design as me in a different colour combination. Block 15 is now completed. That means I’m 60% finished, only ten blocks to go.

Here is this block with the rest of them

  1. You know, I find it impossible to pick a favourite from these beauties. Do you have one?

  2. Lovely! It’s really coming together. I just love how it’s growing and am looking forward to the next block.

It is looking superb. I can see why the centre block is your favourite. That one and the one on the right of it are my favourites. Have to pop over to see how the others are getting on. 🙂

    • I think I like the ones I could adapt as patchwork blocks the best. I’m busy with one at the moment which is mostly fractional stitches. What a pain! It’s block 19. I’m ahead again YEY!

  7. Another lovely block. It looks as if it’s full of fractional stitches so it must have been quite fiddly and time consuming to do. Worth it though, as it looks splendid 🙂

    • Yes, there are loads of fractionals in this one but I’m sort of getting used to them. I’m now cheating by doing the whole crosses of one shape and then going all around it with the fractionals. It seems to be a bit quicker and less frustrating for me that way.

  8. Looking good (great) so far 🙂

  9. Another great one 🙂

  10. It is looking really great with them all together. The colours really work well together.

  11. that’s a great block, if it were patchwork it would be so hard to piece!
