Cirque des Cercles Stage 4!

Hi everyone,

I’m re-posting this as it seems to have fallen off my blog and gone down a black hole. I hope it comes back!

I’m so pleased to show you my completed Stage 4 of Cirque des Cercles from Ink Circles. I hope you like it.

I’m stitching along with Claire over at Claire93.  Unfortunately, Izz at Isabel’s Needleworks is no longer able to continue stitching along with us as her eyes won’t allow her to concentrate for long periods on cross stitch. We miss her Sad smile but she is going to continue stitching her sampler, just at a slower pace. I’ll let you know when she has done more so you can take a look at her update posts too. Claire is stitching the same design as me and it is looking gorgeous!! Why not pop over to take a look at h prerogress which will also be posted sometime today?

Our next completed stage will be revealed on 27th April as long as we are ready to post by then.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

    • Thank you very much. I was wondering whether I’d made a mistake with the black fabric (which is actually evenweave rather than aida) but I’m getting used to it. As long as the light is good it is fine to work with:-)

It is looking wonderful Avis. Although the dark background is harder to use it is well worth the effort as the result is stunning. Looking forward to seeing the next stage.

    • It’s really fun to stitch as the design is sort of divided into manageable portions. It’s just the light up here in the north that holds things up sometimes 🙂

  11. Cross-stitches in such a large embrodery, I´m impressed you haven´t given up 🙂 All my works I have began are hidden in a box 🙂

    • Oh there won’t be any giving up here 🙂 Isn’t it about time one of your WIPs made an appearance? You could stitch along with me and Claire. Only a small section each time. We’ll cheer you on! Go Gun go 🙂
