  1. Oh that is very lovely Avis. I have a nice appliquéd elephant bed cover that came from India but it’s not as sumptuous as that.

    • That sounds lovely too 🙂 My daughter was blessed by an elephant. It touched her on the forehead with its trunk. She said it was like being bopped by a very large soft cushion LOL. I love elephants!

    • I know a lot of these elephant embroideries are made at home by the ladies of the household. Who knows whether this one was made by one or many people. I can’t stop looking at it. Happy weekend to you too Teje 🙂

  3. I would never have guessed an elephant!! I knew it had to be a wall hanging. Too much embellishment for a garment.

    • I know the Indian people love elephants which is why I was wondering about the religious aspect before. You were quite right about the wall hanging. It is very heavy 🙂
